TEA IN TIPI

by

SukhaOutOfFashion1

One of my favourite shops in Amsterdam is the ‘all white’ Sukha.

It is a shop, it is an atelier, it is a place to sooth your soul, it is a treasure in the city.

Sukha means ‘joy of life’ in Sanskrit. Sukha is a place where beautiful things are conceived, developed and created.

All Sukha products are unique items handmade with love from natural materials together with artisans in India and Nepal.

On Wednesday 17th of May Irene and Sam invited me to have tea in their tipi and sign my book OUT OF FASHION | THE NEW FASHION

I cannot think of a more joyful place to be and sign my book!

Sukha, Haarlemmerstraat 110, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

BOOK LAUNCH

by

Athenaeum

The book OUT OF FASHION | THE NEW FASHION is dressing the whole window of Athenaeum Bookstore, a 50 year old independent legendary news and bookshop in Amsterdam.

And they invited me for a book signing.

A wonderful start for my book OUT OF FASHION | THE NEW FASHION. Textile View Magazine (issue 117) featured it with 8 full color pages.

Publisher and editor David Shah calls the 412 page book “A prayer book to textiles”.
